My babies are 1

I can't believe the twins turned 1. Just seemed like the other day they were coming home from the hospital. This year has gone bye way to fast. You all know how I love a party, so I just had to deck theirs out! I decided to do an Ice cream Sundae theme. It started out when I went to the DI and found the glass cups, and I just went nuts from there. I think it turned out great!
Hadlee barely made the cut to roll over before she was one. It was like the week before she started to roll everywhere. I have been worried about her because she has been slower but oh my did she catch up in a hurry. The week after she was crawling and can now pull her self up to furniture! She has almost nine teeth and is always smiling. Although she is always smiling she is my little whiner and always wants to be held. She reminds me so much of Gage when he was a baby.  Mylee started doing the army crawl about 5 weeks before she turned 1 than she figured out the real crawl just shortly after. She started pulling herself up and is full of it.  When Hadlee was able to move and get toys Mylee didnt like it so much! Haha... It was funny to watch. She is really shy and such a daddys girl. She wont even go to me when he's around. She is a little bully, always picking on Hadlee and poor Hadlee just cries and doesn't even stand up for herself, but Im just waiting until she does. Mylee is very loveable and likes to cuddle, and Hadlee just wants to be held no cuddling. I am so amazed at how different they are. They dont look alike, act alike or even act like they like each other! Im sure they do and will someday be best friends. They like to stand in their cribs and yell back and forth to each other. It's so funny to listen! I have been very blessed to have them as my daughters and although they are ALOT of work at times I would never trade it for anything. I thank my heavenly father everyday for the four litlle miracles in my life!

St patty's Day!

Better late than never!
I love St pattys day. Gage learned about leperchauns at school and was bound and dertermined he was going to catch them. Well we woke up to green milk, green toilet water, green waffles, our house was a mess. Cupboard doors open chairs all over and candy with a little treat at the end of te trail for the kids.

Cold & Snow go away!

We have had a rough go around our house lately! Everyone has been sick with coughs, colds and the pukes. Gracee and Gage have had a terrible cough. They checked Gracee for the whooping cough a couple weeks ago but luckily it came back negative. She just has bad asthma and it is finally clearing up. Gage still has a little cough. He is such a trooper and hardly ever gets sick. Hadlee and Mylee have had a cough for quite awhile. I took them to their pediatrician two weeks ago and he said they both have asthma. AHHH! two with asthma this is going to be quite interesting. Gracee has had terrible asthma ever since she was there age and man has it been rough. I hope and pray that they will not have it as bad as she does. It is so miserable for them, and I feel so bad.
On Thurs, March 2 I decided that I would call the clinic and see if they could check the twins ears and o2 levels. They were able to get them in on friday. The Dr said that Mylee was wheezing really bad  and Hadlee was a little. She said she thought they had RSV and wanted me to take them to the hospital for testing. Tj and I took them over to the hospital and they had to deep suction them to get the test. It was so sad holding them down. Mylee's came back positive right away and Hadlee's we weren't sure about until 24 hrs. (It ended up being negative) We got a suction machine to take home and the Dr said I should suction them as often as they needed it and do there nebulizer treatments. Since their 02 levels were ok we could go home and come back for a deep suction if needed.
Saturday they seemed ok but Mylee sounded yucky. Hadlee not as bad but she had a yucky nose.
Sunday when I got them up Mylee just wasn't acting herself. She was lethargic and wheezing and retracting really bad. I called my mom and she thought we should take her in to the ER and at least get there o2 levels checked. Well we got their and her 02 level was about 84 and she was wheezing and retracting so bad. They gave her some 02 and suctioned her out. She hated the 02 around her face at first but finally got use to it. They wanted to admit her so I had them call her pediatrician and he agreed. After we got settled in my mom went home and watched the 3 others so Tj could come and visit for awhile. He left around 6:30pm. My poor little Mylee had the hardest time. They had to keep suctioning her and giving her treatments and she was so exhausted and worn out. It was so weird to have just Mylee and no Hadlee. This was the first time they were actually apart from each other. Mylee didn't sleep very well and had a rough night. She started to perk up this morning and the Dr came in and said she would stay another night. They kinda forgot about her I think! I would have to ask them to come in and suction her and do her treatments. That's when I decided that I could do this at home. I told the nurse that I really wanted to go home and that I had a suction machine, oxygen, and her nebulizer at home. She said she would run it by the Dr. He came in about 1:30p and said as long as I felt comfortable with it he was fine. I said heck yes discharge us now! LOL....Tj  and Hadlee came and got us and we are so glad to be home. It was so good to see Hadlee and Gracee and Gage. It felt like forever and it was only 24 hours. Hadlee and Mylee were so cute with each other. I know they were glad to see each other.
They both got a beautiful blessing tonight from Tj with the help of our friend Tyler. I hope Mylee can get better fast and Hadlee will stay clear of RSV!
We just need the cold and snow to stay away and the warm weather fast!

Happy Valentines Day!

We started our day with heart shaped pancakes that were pink. Gracee had already left for school, we were sad she missed them

Tj got home from work and gave me a dozen roses and a nice card.
One of the roses my dad gave to me for Vday too!

I finished making treats for the kids teachers and friends the night before so we just had to deliver them.

We had a nice Valentines Day dinner, coconut shrimp (yuck i didn't touch it) cornbread, salad, potatoes and heart shaped brownies. Than we had fun taking pictures and just being together

Gracee and Gage think they are quite the little photographers and love to use my nice camera to take pictures. As you can tell Tj and I were the models. They still have alot of practice they were kinda blurry.

More pictures they took of each other

Love this one! Gracee's face says it all.
Than Papa came over to eat some dinner and visit.

It was a great day!
